Kulwant Singh Lays Foundation Stones Of Road Projects Across Multiple Mohali Villages | Mohali Dialogues

Under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann, road infrastructure development is witnessing rapid progress across Mohali constituency as Kulwant Singh laid the foundation stones of multiple link road projects across several villages of the constituency.

The projects are aimed at strengthening rural connectivity, improving transportation facilities and ensuring smoother and safer travel for residents across village areas of Mohali.

The road projects launched include:

  • Nanumajra–Sambhalki–Sukhgarh–Saneta link road along with the circular link road of village Sambhalki
  • Kharar–Banur to Raipur Kalan link road
  • Saidpur–Chuhadmajra link road
  • Gobindgarh to Dhelpur and Dhelpur to Gadana link road
  • Circular link road of village Giga Majra
  • Manouli–Siau to Premgarh link road

Speaking during the foundation stone ceremonies, Kulwant Singh said the Punjab Government is continuously focusing on strengthening road infrastructure and connectivity in both urban and rural regions of the constituency.

“Road infrastructure directly impacts people’s daily lives, transportation convenience and local development. Our effort is to ensure that every village receives better roads and stronger connectivity,” he said.

Kulwant Singh further stated that under the Mann Government, Punjab is witnessing infrastructure development at a pace that people had not experienced for decades.

Residents from villages including Nanumajra, Sambhalki, Sukhgarh, Saneta, Raipur Kalan, Saidpur, Chuhadmajra, Gobindgarh, Dhelpur, Gadana, Giga Majra, Manouli, Siau and Premgarh welcomed the projects and appreciated the government’s continued focus on grassroots infrastructure development.

Villagers said poor road conditions and connectivity issues had been causing inconvenience for commuters, students and farmers for years, especially during rainy seasons and heavy traffic movement.

Locals expressed confidence that the new roads would improve transportation facilities, strengthen village connectivity and make daily travel safer and more efficient.

The foundation stone ceremonies witnessed participation from local residents, Panchayat representatives and party workers, many of whom described the projects as a major boost for rural development in Mohali constituency.

Over the last few years, road connectivity and infrastructure projects have remained central to the Punjab Government’s development agenda, particularly in rapidly growing constituencies like Mohali where rural and urban development are increasingly interconnected.

Residents present during the events said visible infrastructure projects at the grassroots level strengthen public confidence because people directly experience the impact of governance through improved roads and better daily convenience.

For many villagers, the beginning of these projects represents more than road construction alone — it represents the steady expansion of development toward every corner of Mohali constituency
