Bhagwant Mann Secures Approval for Major Road Projects in Punjab

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari to discuss key infrastructure projects aimed at strengthening road connectivity across Punjab.

Following the meeting, several major road development projects received approval, which are expected to improve transportation facilities and boost regional connectivity in different parts of the state. Among the important approvals granted was the four-laning of the road leading to Kotshmir, along with the renovation and upgradation of the Banga to Sri Anandpur Sahib road.

Approval was also granted for the four-laning of the highway connecting Sidhwan Kalan, Bhadaur, Sehna, Jalal, and Bajakhana, which will help improve traffic movement and support economic activity in the region. In addition, the Malerkotla to Barnala road project also received approval for four-laning. Leaders of the Aam Aadmi Party stated that these projects reflect the Punjab Government’s continuous efforts toward strengthening infrastructure and accelerating development across the state under the leadership of Bhagwant Mann.
