Under the leadership and guidance of Bhagwant Mann, Kulwant Singh laid the foundation stone of the Barmajra circular link road project and officially started construction work under the Public Works Department (B&R), Punjab.
The project is expected to improve road connectivity and make daily transportation safer, smoother and more convenient for local residents and commuters.
The upgraded circular link road will benefit farmers, students, daily travellers and nearby villagers by strengthening connectivity and improving accessibility within the rural areas of Mohali constituency.
Villagers and Panchayat members present during the occasion appreciated the Punjab Government’s development-focused initiative and thanked the government for continuously prioritising rural infrastructure and connectivity projects.
Kulwant Singh said the Punjab Government remains committed to ensuring that development reaches every village and that people receive better infrastructure and public facilities at the grassroots level.
He stated that strengthening village roads and public connectivity is an important part of the government’s larger vision for balanced and inclusive development across Punjab.
Residents present during the ceremony expressed confidence that the project would help reduce travel inconvenience and improve transportation facilities for nearby communities.
The foundation stone ceremony witnessed participation from local residents, Panchayat representatives and party workers, many of whom described the project as another important step toward strengthening rural infrastructure in Mohali constituency.
