Kulwant Singh expressed strong support for the Punjab Government’s intensified anti-drug campaign, “Yudh Nashian Virudh 2.0,” being carried out under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to eliminate the drug menace from the state.
He stated that the Punjab Government has continued to take strict and decisive action against drug traffickers and illegal narcotics networks across Punjab. According to Kulwant Singh, strong enforcement measures, including action against properties associated with drug smugglers, have helped create fear among offenders and increased public confidence in the government’s anti-drug drive.
Kulwant Singh appealed to people to actively support the campaign by becoming vigilant guardians of their villages and communities. He emphasized that public participation and collective responsibility are essential to making Punjab drug-free and protecting the younger generation from the harmful effects of narcotics.
He further said that the Bhagwant Mann government remains fully committed to safeguarding society, strengthening law enforcement, and building a healthier and safer Punjab for future generations.
