Kulwant Singh met representatives of various Resident Welfare Associations from the IT Sector area of Mohali, who raised concerns regarding the enhancement fee and demanded a reduction in the charges.
During the meeting, members of the associations discussed the difficulties being faced by residents due to the enhancement fee structure and requested intervention to provide relief to the people living in the area.
Kulwant Singh assured the representatives that the matter would be taken up with GMADA officials and serious efforts would be made to reduce the enhancement fee to the maximum possible extent in accordance with the concerns and demands raised by the residents.
He stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann remains committed to addressing public concerns and ensuring that genuine issues affecting residents are resolved through dialogue and coordination with the concerned authorities.
Residents and association members appreciated the assurance given during the meeting and expressed hope for a positive resolution of the matter.
