In a major step towards improving civic infrastructure in Mohali, Kulwant Singh laid the foundation stone for road construction works worth ₹97.85 lakh at Rishi Apartments, Sector 70, Mohali, in the presence of S. Sukhdev Singh Patwari, MC Sector 70.
Under the project, strong and durable cement concrete roads will be constructed within the locality to improve road connectivity and ensure safer and smoother transportation for residents. The development work is aimed at enhancing public convenience and strengthening urban infrastructure within the area.
Along with road construction, storm sewer lines will also be installed to ensure proper drainage of rainwater during the monsoon season. The initiative is expected to provide significant relief to residents from the recurring issue of waterlogging and improve overall movement within the colony during rainy weather.
The project reflects the continued focus on strengthening local infrastructure and improving civic amenities across Mohali. Such developmental works are playing an important role in enhancing the quality of urban living and addressing long-standing public concerns related to roads and drainage systems.
