Kulwant Singh participated in the departure of a pilgrimage bus from Phase 6, Mohali, under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Yatra Scheme launched by the Punjab Government for senior citizens.
As part of the pilgrimage tour, devotees and senior pilgrims will visit prominent religious and historical sites including Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Temple, Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal, Jallianwala Bagh, and the Partition Museum. The initiative aims to provide citizens with an opportunity to undertake spiritual and cultural journeys with dignity and convenience.
During the programme, Kulwant Singh stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to ensuring that pilgrims receive every necessary facility and assistance throughout the journey. Arrangements related to transportation, comfort, and overall care of the pilgrims have been made by the government to ensure a smooth and safe experience.
