Kulwant Singh flagged off a pilgrimage bus from Lakhnour village in Mohali under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Yatra Scheme initiated by the Punjab Government for senior citizens and devotees.
During this spiritual journey, senior pilgrims will visit several prominent religious and historical destinations including Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Temple, Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal, Jallianwala Bagh, and the Partition Museum, along with other important heritage sites.
Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to providing every possible facility and assistance to pilgrims throughout the journey. Special arrangements have been made to ensure the comfort, safety, and convenience of all devotees participating in the pilgrimage. Residents and pilgrims expressed appreciation for the initiative, describing it as a meaningful welfare scheme that allows senior citizens to undertake religious journeys with dignity and proper government support.
