MLA Kulwant Singh participated in a Board of Management meeting at Dr BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), S.A.S. Nagar, Mohali, on 21 August 2026. During the meeting, he listened to the concerns and demands raised by members of the management and discussed matters requiring government intervention.
Various issues and demands related to the functioning and development of the institute were placed before the Board of Management. MLA Kulwant Singh listened to the points raised by the members and assured them that matters falling within the jurisdiction of the Punjab Government would be brought to the government’s attention for appropriate consideration.
The meeting focused on strengthening the institution and ensuring that matters related to its functioning and development receive appropriate attention. Dr BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences is an important medical education and healthcare institution in Mohali, making its effective functioning significant for both students and residents of the region.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that strengthening important public institutions is a key priority of the Punjab Government. He said that institutions such as Dr BR Ambedkar State Institute of Medical Sciences should be strengthened in every aspect so that they can effectively serve students, patients, faculty, and the wider community.
He assured the management members that demands and issues falling under the jurisdiction of the Punjab Government would be placed before the government for consideration and necessary action.
The meeting provided an opportunity for the management to present its requirements and for the issues requiring government intervention to be formally discussed. MLA Kulwant Singh reiterated his commitment to supporting the development and strengthening of important institutions in the Mohali constituency.
