MLA Kulwant Singh met residents of Raipur Kalan village in the Mohali constituency during a public meeting on 21 August 2026, where villagers were apprised of the development works and public welfare initiatives undertaken by the Punjab Government during the past four and a half years.
During the interaction, MLA Kulwant Singh highlighted various initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, focusing on the government’s efforts towards the welfare and progress of different sections of society.
The public meeting witnessed participation from a large number of villagers. The gathering provided an opportunity for residents to interact directly with their elected representative and learn about the government’s development and welfare initiatives. Such programmes also provide a platform for maintaining regular communication with people living in rural areas of the constituency.
MLA Kulwant Singh thanked the residents of Raipur Kalan for attending the programme in large numbers and for their continued participation in public interactions.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Mann government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann have undertaken several works during the last four and a half years for the welfare and progress of different sections of Punjab. He said that continued interaction with residents is important for understanding their expectations and ensuring that development remains connected with local needs.
The gathering also carried a political message ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. According to the statement issued following the programme, the villagers present expressed their support for bringing the Mann government back to power in 2027.
