Kulwant Singh Holds Lok Milani in Jhurhedi, Highlights Mann Government’s Development Work

MLA Kulwant Singh met residents of Jhurhedi village in the Mohali constituency during a Lok Milani programme on 21 August 2026, where villagers were apprised of the development works and public welfare initiatives undertaken by the Punjab Government during the past four and a half years.

During the interaction, MLA Kulwant Singh discussed various initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, highlighting the government’s focus on the welfare and progress of different sections of society. The programme provided villagers with an opportunity to interact directly with their elected representative and discuss the government’s work at the grassroots level.

A large number of residents participated in the Lok Milani programme. MLA Kulwant Singh thanked the villagers for their participation and said that direct interaction with people is important for understanding their expectations and ensuring that development priorities remain connected with the needs of local communities.

The meeting also carried a political message ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. According to the statement issued following the programme, the villagers present expressed their support for bringing the Mann government back to power in 2027.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Mann government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann have undertaken several works during the last four and a half years for the welfare and progress of different sections of Punjab. He thanked the residents of Jhurhedi for attending the programme in large numbers and for their continued participation in public programmes.

He also reiterated the importance of maintaining regular contact with residents and continuing to work towards the development of the Mohali constituency. The Lok Milani programme concluded with thanks to the villagers for their participation and expressions of support for the Mann government ahead of the 2027 elections
