Under the leadership and guidance of Bhagwant Mann, Kulwant Singh laid the foundation stone of the Ballomajra circular link road project and officially started construction work under the Public Works Department (B&R), Punjab.
The project is expected to provide major relief to local residents by improving road connectivity and making daily transportation smoother, safer and more convenient for villagers.
The upgraded link road will strengthen connectivity within the village and surrounding areas, benefiting farmers, students, commuters and local residents who regularly travel through the route.
Villagers and Panchayat members present during the occasion appreciated the Punjab Government’s development-focused initiative and thanked the government for prioritising rural infrastructure and connectivity projects.
Kulwant Singh said the Punjab Government is continuously working to ensure that development reaches every village and that people receive better infrastructure and public facilities at the grassroots level.
He stated that strengthening village roads and public infrastructure remains an important part of the government’s broader vision for balanced development across Punjab.
Residents said the project would help improve transportation facilities, reduce inconvenience during travel and make movement safer for people living in nearby rural areas.
