Following the vision of “Healthy Body, Healthy Mind,” Kulwant Singh inaugurated the newly developed Chief Minister’s Playground at village Manakmajra in Mohali and dedicated it to the public.
The playground has been constructed at a cost of nearly Rs 30 lakh under the Punjab Government’s initiative to strengthen sports infrastructure and encourage youth participation in sports activities across villages. Local residents, youth, and village representatives attended the inauguration programme and welcomed the initiative enthusiastically.
Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously working to provide better sports facilities for young people so they can stay connected with fitness, discipline, and positive activities. He further said that developing playgrounds in villages is an important step toward motivating youth to remain engaged in sports and contribute toward building a healthier and stronger Punjab. Residents of the village also expressed gratitude to the Punjab Government for undertaking development initiatives focused on youth welfare and rural infrastructure
