Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of SAS Nagar Mohali at his office, where people from various sectors, wards, and villages shared the civic issues affecting their respective localities. The interaction was part of the Mayor’s ongoing efforts to maintain direct communication with citizens and ensure that public grievances are addressed in a timely and transparent manner.
During the meeting, residents highlighted concerns related to municipal services, sanitation, roads, drainage, street lighting, water supply, parks, and other civic amenities under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened carefully to every representation and assured the residents that all genuine issues would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt action.
The Mayor said that regular interaction with citizens provides valuable insight into the challenges faced at the grassroots level and helps the Municipal Corporation identify priority areas for improvement. He noted that maintaining an open channel of communication with residents is essential for delivering responsive governance and ensuring that civic services continue to improve across Mohali.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana also emphasised that continuous follow-up with the concerned authorities is necessary to ensure that public grievances are resolved efficiently. He reaffirmed the Municipal Corporation’s commitment to addressing issues within its jurisdiction while working towards better infrastructure and improved public services for all residents.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that serving the people and resolving their concerns remains his foremost responsibility. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening urban infrastructure, enhancing municipal services, and promoting transparent, citizen-centric governance. He assured residents that every issue brought before him would receive due attention and that sincere efforts would be made to ensure its early resolution.
