Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana, along with the concerned officers, inspected the RMC points at Phase 3A, Phase 6 and Mataur in Mohali to assess the existing waste management and cleanliness arrangements. The inspection was carried out to understand the requirements at these locations and identify areas where improvements are needed.
During the visit, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana took feedback from the concerned officials regarding the existing arrangements at the RMC points. He reviewed the cleanliness conditions and discussed the measures required to improve waste collection, handling, and overall maintenance at the sites.
The Mayor issued instructions to the concerned authorities to ensure proper waste management and regular cleaning at the RMC points. He emphasised that these locations should be maintained systematically so that waste does not accumulate and the surrounding areas remain clean for residents.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that regular field inspections are necessary to assess civic facilities at the ground level and identify issues requiring immediate attention. He stressed that cleanliness and effective waste management are important components of good civic administration and public health.
The inspection also highlighted the need for continued coordination between elected representatives, Municipal Corporation officials, and sanitation teams. The Mayor directed the authorities to monitor the arrangements regularly and undertake necessary improvements wherever required.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that proper waste management and cleanliness remain important priorities for the Municipal Corporation. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to improving civic infrastructure and public services. He directed the concerned officials to ensure proper arrangements at the RMC points and maintain regular cleanliness so that Mohali residents can benefit from a cleaner and healthier environment.
The inspection of the RMC points at Phase 3A, Phase 6 and Mataur reflects the Municipal Corporation’s focus on improving sanitation through regular monitoring and timely corrective action.
