Kulwant Singh Dedicates ₹40 Lakh Water Supply Project in Tdauli Village

Kulwant Singh dedicated a newly constructed water supply project in village Tdauli of the Mohali constituency to the public on the occasion of Jal Arpan Diwas.

The project has been completed at a cost of approximately ₹40 lakh under the Punjab Government’s Jal Jeevan Mission and the 15th Finance Commission initiatives. The newly developed water works facility has been established to strengthen drinking water infrastructure and improve water supply services for residents of the village.

As part of the project, a new tube well with a depth of 650 feet has been installed along with the construction of a water storage tank having a capacity of 25,000 litres. In addition, nearly 2 kilometres of new pipeline has also been laid in the village to improve water distribution and supply.

Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is continuously working to improve basic infrastructure and public facilities in rural areas. He added that the maintenance and management of the water supply scheme will be carried out by the village gram panchayat to ensure efficient operation for the benefit of residents.
