Strengthening urban infrastructure, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh initiated sewerage pipeline work in Phase-3B2 to address long-standing drainage issues in the area.
The new pipeline project, with an estimated cost of ₹78.90 lakh, aims to resolve sewerage problems and improve sanitation for residents. The work is expected to be completed within approximately two months, after which the system will be operational for public convenience.
Kulwant Singh stated that the project has been undertaken to provide a long-term solution to sewerage concerns faced by residents. He emphasised that improving basic infrastructure remains a key priority to ensure better living conditions.
He further highlighted that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is focused on upgrading civic infrastructure across Mohali to meet the growing needs of the population.
Residents of Phase-3B2 welcomed the initiative, noting that the project will significantly improve sanitation and address persistent sewerage issues in the locality.
