Kulwant Singh flagged off a pilgrimage bus from Jujhar Nagar village in Mohali under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Yatra Scheme launched by the Punjab Government for senior citizens and devotees.
As part of the pilgrimage journey, senior pilgrims will visit several important religious and historical destinations including Sri Harmandir Sahib, Durgiana Temple, Bhagwan Valmiki Tirath Sthal, Jallianwala Bagh, and the Partition Museum. The initiative aims to provide devotees with a comfortable and well-organized spiritual travel experience.
Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is ensuring that all necessary facilities and arrangements are provided to pilgrims throughout the journey. Special attention has been given to the comfort, safety, and convenience of senior citizens participating in the pilgrimage. Residents and pilgrims appreciated the initiative and expressed gratitude toward the Punjab Government for organizing welfare-oriented programmes that allow people to undertake religious journeys with dignity and government support
