A special Teachers’ Day event was organised in Mohali on Saturday, with Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann attending as the chief guest. The programme focused on the changes and initiatives undertaken in the state’s education sector over the past four years.
During the event, discussions were held on the developments in Punjab’s education system and the steps taken to improve learning opportunities and strengthen government schools. The contribution of teachers in implementing these initiatives and supporting students was also highlighted.
As part of the programme, 75 teachers who demonstrated exemplary performance in the education sector were felicitated by Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann. The recognition acknowledged their contribution and dedication towards teaching and education.
Teachers participating in the event also shared their views and appreciated the education-related initiatives undertaken by the Mann Government. They spoke about the changes they had witnessed in the education sector and the measures being implemented to improve the overall learning environment.
The Teachers’ Day programme brought educators together to recognise their work and highlight the role of teachers in shaping the future of Punjab’s students.
