Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of SAS Nagar Mohali at his office, where citizens shared the issues and concerns affecting their respective localities. The interaction formed part of the Mayor’s ongoing efforts to maintain direct communication with residents and ensure that civic issues are addressed promptly through the Municipal Corporation.
During the meeting, people from various sectors, wards, and villages of Mohali explained the problems being faced in their neighbourhoods. The concerns raised included issues related to municipal services and civic infrastructure, along with other matters falling under the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened carefully to every representation and assured residents that their concerns would be examined and addressed without unnecessary delay.
The Mayor said that regular interaction with citizens is essential for understanding local needs and improving the delivery of public services. He noted that meeting residents personally helps the administration identify priority issues and enables the Municipal Corporation to respond more effectively to the expectations of the people.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana further stated that all issues within the Municipal Corporation’s jurisdiction would be taken up with the concerned departments for early action. He emphasised that responsive governance and continuous public engagement are important for strengthening civic administration and ensuring planned urban development across Mohali.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that serving the people and resolving their problems remains his foremost priority. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to improving civic infrastructure, strengthening public services, and promoting transparent, citizen-centric governance. He assured residents that every genuine concern brought before the Municipal Corporation would receive due attention and that sincere efforts would be made to resolve issues as quickly as possible. The interaction reflected the Municipal Corporation’s continued focus on accessible governance and public participation.
