Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different areas of SAS Nagar Mohali at his office and listened to the problems being faced in their respective localities. The interaction provided residents with an opportunity to directly share their concerns and seek timely action on issues affecting their neighbourhoods.
During the meeting, residents briefed the Mayor about various local problems. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened to their concerns and assured them that all issues falling within his jurisdiction would be taken up with the concerned authorities and efforts would be made to resolve them as soon as possible.
The Mayor said that regular interaction with residents is important for understanding problems at the local level. Meeting people directly also helps in identifying issues that require attention and ensures that the Municipal Corporation remains connected with the concerns of different neighbourhoods across Mohali.
He further emphasised the importance of coordination with the relevant departments for resolving public grievances. The Mayor assured residents that their representations would be followed up and that necessary action would be pursued on matters falling within the Municipal Corporation’s jurisdiction.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that listening to residents and working towards resolving their problems is an important responsibility. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to improving civic infrastructure and public services while promoting people-centric governance. He assured the residents that sincere efforts would be made to resolve all issues under his jurisdiction at the earliest.
