Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana visited Kandala village in SAS Nagar Mohali to inspect the ongoing construction of a new sports stadium and the approach road being developed to improve access to the facility. During the inspection, he reviewed the progress of the work and directed the concerned officials to expedite the construction so that the project is completed at the earliest for the benefit of local residents.
The development of the sports stadium is expected to provide a modern space where young people can participate in sporting activities, practice regularly, and make better use of quality public infrastructure within their own village. The new approach road will further improve connectivity to the stadium, ensuring easier and safer access for residents of Kandala and nearby areas.
