Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana visited Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Sector 89, SAS Nagar Mohali, where he offered prayers and sought the blessings of Guru Sahib. The visit provided an opportunity to join the congregation in prayer and interact with members of the local community in an atmosphere of faith, unity, and spiritual reflection.
During his visit, the Mayor paid obeisance at the Gurdwara Sahib and offered prayers for the peace, prosperity, and well-being of the people of Mohali. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to seek the blessings of Guru Sahib and participate in the religious gathering alongside devotees from the area.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana also had the opportunity to meet members of the congregation and exchange views with them. The interaction reflected the importance of staying connected with residents through community and religious programmes, where people from different backgrounds come together in the spirit of harmony and mutual respect. He appreciated the warmth and affection shown by the sangat and thanked them for their welcome.
The Mayor said that Gurdwaras have always played an important role in promoting the values of equality, compassion, humility, and selfless service. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government remains committed to preserving Punjab’s rich spiritual and cultural heritage while promoting inclusive development and community welfare. He said that the teachings of Guru Sahib continue to inspire society to follow the path of honesty, service, and compassion. He prayed that Waheguru bless everyone with good health, happiness, and high spirits and continue to guide the people of Mohali towards peace and prosperity. The visit to Gurdwara Singh Sabha, Sector 89, reflected the importance of faith, community engagement, and shared values in public life. Alongside infrastructure development and better civic services, preserving spiritual traditions and maintaining strong community bonds remain an important part of building a harmonious and progressive SAS Nagar Mohali.
