Kulwant Singh, MLA of MLA Mohali, flagged off the seventh bus carrying devotees from Phase-4 Mohali to Sri Amritsar Sahib under the Chief Minister’s pilgrimage scheme.
The bus was flagged off from Gurdwara Sri Kalgidhar Singh Sabha, where a large number of devotees gathered to begin their journey. The initiative is part of the state government’s ongoing efforts to facilitate religious travel, especially for senior citizens.
The pilgrimage scheme, being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, aims to provide accessible and well-organised travel to prominent religious destinations. Arrangements including transportation and other essential facilities are being ensured for the यात्रियों.
At the local level, the Aam Aadmi Party Mohali is actively supporting the execution of the programme, helping streamline participation and coordination. Devotees expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, stating that such initiatives make it easier for them to undertake religious journeys with comfort and dignity.
