Kulwant Singh flagged off a bus carrying pilgrims from village Chappar Chiri Khurd in Mohali under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Yatra Scheme launched by the Punjab Government.
The pilgrims departed for Sri Amritsar Sahib as part of the spiritual journey organized under the scheme. During the pilgrimage, devotees will visit several important religious and historical destinations including Darbar Sahib Sri Amritsar Sahib, Durgiana Temple, Ram Tirath Valmiki Temple, Jallianwala Bagh, and the Wagah Border.
Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to ensuring comfortable and well-organized pilgrimage facilities for devotees and senior citizens across the state.
He further said that all necessary arrangements and facilities are being provided to pilgrims throughout the journey to ensure a safe and convenient travel experience. Residents and pilgrims appreciated the initiative and thanked the Punjab Government for organizing such welfare-oriented programmes.
