Addressing concerns related to land acquisition, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh met landowners from villages Bakarpur, Bari, Matra, Siau, Pato, Kishanpura, and Kurdi at his office.
During the meeting, the landowners submitted a written memorandum outlining their demands and concerns regarding the ongoing land acquisition process. Kulwant Singh listened to the issues raised in detail and acknowledged the importance of addressing them in a fair and transparent manner.
He assured the delegation that their concerns would be taken up with the Punjab Government for appropriate consideration. He further stated that the matter would be brought to the attention of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to ensure that the demands are examined and necessary steps are taken.
“The concerns of landowners are important, and every effort will be made to ensure that their issues are addressed properly,” he said during the interaction.
The visiting landowners expressed appreciation for the opportunity to present their concerns and welcomed the assurance given.
