Continuing efforts to improve education infrastructure, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh inaugurated newly constructed classrooms at Government Primary and Middle School in village Balomajra.
Two additional classrooms each have been constructed at the schools at a combined cost of ₹46 lakh, along with another classroom built at a cost of ₹9.51 lakh. The new infrastructure aims to enhance learning facilities and accommodate growing student needs.
Kulwant Singh handed over the classrooms to the school staff and congratulated them on the improvement in school infrastructure. He interacted with teachers and appreciated their efforts in maintaining quality education.
Speaking on the occasion, he emphasised that strengthening school infrastructure is essential for providing a better learning environment and ensuring long-term academic development.
He reiterated that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is committed to enhancing education facilities across the state.
Residents and school staff welcomed the initiative, noting that such developments contribute significantly to improving the quality of education in rural areas.
