As part of the Mohali Municipal Corporation election campaign, MLA Kulwant Singh participated in the “Aap Di Sarkar, Aap Da MC” outreach programme in Ward No. 10 in support of Aam Aadmi Party candidate Satyajit Kundra. The campaign focused on connecting with residents, discussing local development priorities, and highlighting the importance of effective municipal governance for the continued growth of the area.

The programme brought together local residents, community members, and supporters who engaged in discussions regarding civic services and neighbourhood development. Residents shared their views on issues related to roads, sanitation, street lighting, water supply, waste management, parks, and other public amenities that directly affect daily life. Such interactions play an important role in understanding local concerns and ensuring that development efforts remain aligned with community needs.

The “Aap Di Sarkar, Aap Da MC” initiative emphasized the importance of strong coordination between citizens and local representatives. Municipal councillors serve as a direct link between residents and the Municipal Corporation, helping address civic issues and ensuring the effective implementation of development projects. Their role is particularly important in a rapidly growing city like Mohali, where demand for quality infrastructure and public services continues to increase.

Ward 10 is among the areas witnessing growing expectations regarding urban development and improved civic facilities. Active engagement with residents helps identify priorities and supports better planning for future infrastructure and public welfare initiatives. Such programmes also encourage greater participation in the democratic process and strengthen community involvement in local governance.

Mohali’s continued development depends on effective local leadership and responsive civic administration. Municipal elections provide residents with an opportunity to choose representatives who can work closely with communities and municipal authorities to address local challenges and improve the quality of life for citizens.

Under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has focused on strengthening local governance, improving citizen services, and accelerating development across urban and rural areas. Municipal representatives are expected to play a key role in advancing these objectives and ensuring that development reaches every ward of the city.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh congratulated Satyajit Kundra and extended his best wishes for the upcoming elections. He said that public representatives should remain committed to serving residents and addressing their concerns through continuous engagement and dedicated efforts.

He further encouraged residents to participate actively in the democratic process and support development-oriented governance. He expressed confidence that Satyajit Kundra would work sincerely for the welfare of Ward 10 residents and contribute towards strengthening civic infrastructure and public services in the area.

The programme concluded with interactions between residents and community leaders, highlighting the importance of citizen participation and grassroots engagement. As Mohali moved closer to the Municipal Corporation elections, the focus remained on development, better public services, and stronger local governance that benefits every section of society.
