Kulwant Singh Flags Off 18th Pilgrimage Bus from Sohana Mohali

Continuing efforts to support the spiritual journeys of senior citizens, Mohali MLA Kulwant Singh flagged off the 18th pilgrimage bus from village Sohana under the Chief Minister’s Pilgrimage Yatra Plan.

The bus carrying elderly pilgrims to Sri Amritsar Sahib was flagged off in the presence of residents and local representatives, marking the beginning of a well-organised journey. The initiative aims to provide senior citizens with an opportunity to undertake religious visits with ease and dignity.

Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh described the free pilgrimage scheme as a significant step towards ensuring respectful service for the elderly. He noted that buses are being regularly organised from across the state, enabling more people to benefit from the initiative.

He further highlighted that the Punjab Government, under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, is making comprehensive arrangements for pilgrims, including transportation, accommodation, meals, and other essential facilities throughout the journey.

Residents appreciated the initiative, stating that it reflects a strong commitment towards the welfare and dignity of senior citizens.

Kulwant Singh reiterated his commitment to ensuring that more residents of the Mohali constituency benefit from such welfare initiatives in the future.
