MLA Kulwant Singh met residents of Maujpur village in the Mohali constituency during a public meeting held on the evening of 21 August 2026, where villagers were apprised of the development works and public welfare initiatives undertaken by the Punjab Government during the past four and a half years.
During the interaction, MLA Kulwant Singh discussed various initiatives undertaken under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann for the welfare and progress of different sections of society. The meeting provided villagers with an opportunity to interact directly with their elected representative and learn about the government’s development and welfare agenda.
A large number of residents participated in the programme. MLA Kulwant Singh thanked the villagers for attending the meeting in large numbers and said that regular interaction with residents is important for understanding their expectations and maintaining direct communication with people at the grassroots level.
The meeting also provided an opportunity to discuss the government’s work and its focus on development and public welfare. Such public interactions help strengthen communication between residents and their elected representatives and provide a platform for people to remain engaged with ongoing government initiatives.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Mann government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann have undertaken several initiatives during the past four and a half years for the welfare and progress of different sections of Punjab. He thanked the residents of Maujpur for their participation and expressed his commitment to continuing public outreach across the constituency.
The gathering also carried a political message ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. According to the statement issued after the programme, the villagers present assured their support for bringing the Mann government back to power in 2027.
