Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of SAS Nagar Mohali at his office, where citizens from various localities shared the civic issues and challenges affecting their neighbourhoods. The interaction was part of the Mayor’s ongoing efforts to remain accessible to the public and ensure that residents have a direct platform to communicate their concerns.
During the meeting, people from different areas of Mohali apprised the Mayor of issues related to civic infrastructure and municipal services in their respective localities. Residents highlighted concerns regarding roads, sanitation, drainage, street lighting, water supply, cleanliness, and other matters requiring the attention of the Municipal Corporation. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened carefully to every representation and took note of the issues raised.
The meeting reflected the importance of regular public interaction in strengthening citizen-centric governance. Direct engagement with residents enables the Municipal Corporation to better understand local priorities, identify areas requiring immediate intervention, and improve the delivery of public services. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana assured the residents that every issue falling within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation would be addressed on priority. Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that listening to the concerns of residents and ensuring their timely resolution remains one of his foremost responsibilities. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening civic infrastructure, improving public services, and delivering responsive governance across the state. He added that the Municipal Corporation will continue working in close coordination with the concerned authorities to resolve public grievances efficiently and enhance the quality of life for the people of Mohali.
