A significant public infrastructure project was launched in Sohana village, SAS Nagar Mohali, on 27 June 2026 with the commencement of work on a new canal water supply pipeline. The initiative, undertaken under the leadership of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, aims to provide a reliable supply of clean canal water to every household in the village, further strengthening essential public services and improving the quality of life for residents.
MLA Kulwant Singh inaugurated the commencement of the pipeline work, marking another important step in the Punjab Government’s ongoing efforts to improve water infrastructure across Mohali. The project has been planned to enhance the village’s water supply system by ensuring a dependable source of clean water for domestic use.
