Kulwant Singh flagged off a pilgrimage bus from village Kailon in Mohali under the Chief Minister Pilgrimage Yatra Scheme introduced by the Punjab Government for senior citizens and devotees.
During the pilgrimage journey, senior pilgrims will visit several important religious and historical destinations and return after completing the spiritual tour. The initiative has been launched to provide devotees with an opportunity to undertake religious travel with proper arrangements and government support.
Speaking on the occasion, Kulwant Singh stated that the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann is committed to ensuring that pilgrims receive every necessary facility during the journey. Arrangements related to transportation, safety, comfort, and assistance have been made to provide a smooth and convenient experience for all devotees.
Residents and pilgrims appreciated the welfare-oriented initiative and thanked the Punjab Government for continuously working toward the well-being and convenience of senior citizens across the state.
