MLA Kulwant Singh attended a programme organised at the Centre of Excellence for Autism & Neurodevelopmental Disorders in Sector 79, Mohali, on the invitation of the organisers.

During the programme, the work being carried out by the centre for children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders was discussed. According to the information shared during the event, the centre is the first of its kind in the country dedicated to autism treatment and has so far provided treatment to around 260 children from different parts of the country.

The programme also provided an opportunity for the centre’s organisers to present their requirements and concerns before the MLA. Kulwant Singh listened to the demands raised by the organisers and assured them that the matters would be brought to the attention of the Punjab Government.

Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that he would make every possible effort to facilitate support for the centre and would take up its genuine requirements with the Mann Government for consideration.

The programme highlighted the importance of specialised care and support for children with autism and neurodevelopmental disorders, as well as the need to strengthen such facilities and services.
