Popular café-bar brand SOCIAL has opened its first outlet in Mohali at HLP Gallerria in Sector 62, marking an important milestone for the brand as it reaches its 60th outlet across India.

The new outlet is also SOCIAL’s third location in Punjab, adding to its existing presence in Chandigarh. The launch comes as Mohali continues to see growing demand for restaurants, cafés and entertainment spaces that combine dining with social experiences.

Spread across multiple levels, the new SOCIAL outlet has been designed as a space where customers can visit at different times of the day. The concept brings together a café, restaurant, bar and entertainment setting under one roof, allowing the venue to cater to everything from morning coffee and casual meals to evening gatherings and late-night outings.

The interior has been designed by Mumbai-based FK’D Workshop. The layout takes inspiration from an amphitheatre, with different levels connected visually to create an open and interactive environment.

One of the main features of the venue is its island bar, which extends between the indoor and outdoor sections. Large glass façades allow natural light into the space, while greenery, natural materials and Shabad stone flooring have been used to give the interiors a contemporary yet warm character.

The outlet also includes a private dining area for smaller gatherings and an open-air timber-deck balcony designed for relaxed conversations and sundowners.

Food and beverages remain at the centre of the SOCIAL experience. The Mohali menu includes several of the brand’s popular offerings, such as China Boxes, Butter Chicken Biryani and Fully Re-loaded Nachos. The beverage menu includes coffee and signature cocktails, along with options designed around the brand’s casual café-bar format.

The menu also features the Banarasi Patiala, giving the new outlet a regional touch while retaining SOCIAL’s broader food and beverage identity.

The brand is also expected to use the Mohali space for music, cultural activities, creative collaborations and events involving local and emerging talent. This is part of SOCIAL’s wider approach of creating venues that function not only as places to eat and drink but also as spaces for people to meet and spend time together.

The Mohali opening is particularly significant for Impresario Entertainment & Hospitality Pvt. Ltd., the company behind SOCIAL. With the new outlet, the brand has reached the milestone of 60 locations in India.

For Mohali, the arrival of SOCIAL adds another established name to the city’s expanding hospitality sector. HLP Gallerria in Sector 62 is increasingly becoming a destination for food, retail and lifestyle businesses, and the new outlet is expected to add to the area’s evening and weekend activity.

The launch also strengthens the connection between Chandigarh and Mohali as a combined food and entertainment market. With SOCIAL already operating in Chandigarh, its entry into Mohali gives the brand a larger presence across the Tricity. As the city continues to develop its commercial and lifestyle infrastructure, the opening of SOCIAL’s 60th outlet represents another step in Mohali’s emergence as a destination for modern dining, entertainment and social experiences.
