Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents who reached his office from different areas of SAS Nagar Mohali with their local problems and concerns. The interaction provided citizens with an opportunity to directly present their grievances and seek timely solutions to issues affecting their respective neighbourhoods.
During the meeting, the Mayor listened carefully to the concerns raised by the residents and took note of the issues brought before him. He assured the people that all matters falling within his jurisdiction would be taken up with the concerned authorities and that efforts would be made to resolve them as soon as possible.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that direct interaction with residents is an important part of responsive civic administration. Meeting people personally provides a clearer understanding of local issues and helps identify the areas where municipal intervention is required.
He further emphasised the importance of coordination with the relevant departments for the effective resolution of public grievances. The Mayor assured residents that their concerns would be followed up with the concerned authorities and that necessary action would be pursued on matters under the Municipal Corporation’s jurisdiction.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that listening to residents and working towards resolving their problems remains an important responsibility. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to improving civic infrastructure, strengthening public services, and ensuring people-centric governance. He assured the residents that sincere efforts would be made to resolve all issues falling within his jurisdiction at the earliest. The interaction reflected the continued focus on direct public engagement and accessible governance in Mohali. Regular meetings with residents provide an important channel for identifying local priorities and improving civic services according to the needs of different communities across SAS Nagar Mohali.
