The torch journey for Season 4 of Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan reached Mohali on 18 August 2026 as part of the Punjab Government’s continued efforts to encourage young people to participate in sports and promote a healthy and active lifestyle.

The torch journey, which began from Sangrur, reached Mohali amid enthusiasm from local residents, sports enthusiasts, and young people. MLA Kulwant Singh, along with MP Malwinder Singh Kang, welcomed the torch and the participants in Mohali.

The Khedan Watan Punjab Diyan initiative was launched by the Punjab Government after it came to power with the objective of creating greater opportunities for people, particularly young athletes, to participate in sporting activities. The programme has developed into a statewide sporting platform, providing participants from different parts of Punjab an opportunity to showcase their talent across multiple disciplines.
