MLA Kulwant Singh met residents of Mote Majra village in the Mohali constituency during a Lok Milani programme on 13 August 2026, where villagers were apprised of the development projects and public welfare initiatives undertaken by the Punjab Government over the past four and a half years.
During the interaction, MLA Kulwant Singh highlighted various initiatives carried out under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, focusing on the government’s efforts towards the welfare and progress of different sections of society. The programme also provided an opportunity for villagers to interact directly with their elected representative.
The Lok Milani programme was attended by a large number of residents from Mote Majra. The gathering served as a platform to discuss the government’s development-oriented approach and welfare measures and to maintain direct communication between the constituency’s residents and their public representative.
MLA Kulwant Singh said that regular interaction with villagers is important for understanding local expectations and ensuring that development priorities remain connected with the needs of the people. He also thanked the residents for participating in the programme in large numbers.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that the Mann government and Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann have undertaken several initiatives during the last four and a half years for the welfare and progress of different sections of Punjab. He expressed his gratitude to the people of Mote Majra for their participation and continued engagement.
The programme also witnessed expressions of political support for the Punjab Government ahead of the 2027 Punjab Assembly elections. According to the statement issued after the meeting, the villagers present expressed their support for bringing the Mann government back to power in 2027. MLA Kulwant Singh thanked the residents for their participation and reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining regular contact with the people of the constituency and working towards its continued development.
