Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana joins local residents during the Chhabeel Seva organised at Phase 7, Mohali, to commemorate the martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji.

Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana participated in a Chhabeel Seva organised by local residents in Phase 7, SAS Nagar Mohali, in remembrance of the supreme martyrdom of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, the Fifth Sikh Guru. The camp, where chilled sweetened water was served to the public, reflected the Sikh values of selfless service, compassion, and humanity.

During the visit, the Mayor paid his respects to the sacred memory of Sri Guru Arjan Dev Ji and appreciated the efforts of the local residents and volunteers who had organised the Chhabeel. He interacted with the volunteers, encouraged their spirit of service, and acknowledged their contribution towards keeping alive the rich traditions of Sikh heritage through community service.

The Chhabeel attracted residents from different parts of Mohali, who came together to participate in the seva and pay tribute to Guru Sahib’s teachings of humility, sacrifice, and universal brotherhood.
