Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of SAS Nagar Mohali at his office, where citizens shared the civic issues and concerns affecting their respective localities. The meeting was part of the Mayor’s regular public outreach initiative to maintain direct communication with residents and ensure that local issues receive timely attention from the Municipal Corporation.
During the interaction, people from various sectors, wards, and villages of Mohali apprised the Mayor of problems related to municipal services, civic infrastructure, sanitation, roads, drainage, street lighting, water supply, and other matters concerning their neighbourhoods. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened carefully to every representation and assured residents that all issues falling within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation would be addressed on priority through the concerned departments.
The Mayor said that regular interaction with citizens helps the administration better understand the needs and expectations of the people. Such meetings provide valuable feedback that enables the Municipal Corporation to identify priority areas, improve service delivery, and ensure that development works are carried out in a responsive and transparent manner.
Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana also emphasised that continuous follow-up with the concerned authorities is essential for resolving public grievances efficiently. He said that the Municipal Corporation remains committed to ensuring that genuine civic issues are addressed without unnecessary delay while maintaining a citizen-first approach to governance.
Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that serving the people and resolving their concerns remains his foremost priority. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening civic infrastructure, improving public services, and promoting transparent and citizen-centric governance. He assured residents that every issue brought before him would receive due attention and that sincere efforts would be made to resolve all matters within the Municipal Corporation’s jurisdiction as quickly as possible. The interaction reflected the Municipal Corporation’s continued commitment to accessible governance and meaningful public participation. As SAS Nagar Mohali continues to grow through improved infrastructure and better civic services, regular engagement with residents will remain an important part of ensuring that development is responsive to the needs and aspirations of the people
