Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana met residents from different parts of his constituency at his office to hear their concerns and discuss issues affecting their localities. The meeting provided citizens with an opportunity to directly interact with the Mayor, share their grievances, and seek solutions to matters related to civic services and public welfare.
During the interaction, residents apprised the Mayor of various issues concerning their neighbourhoods, including matters related to municipal services, civic infrastructure, sanitation, roads, drainage, and other local development needs. Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana listened patiently to every concern and assured the residents that all issues falling within the jurisdiction of the Municipal Corporation would be taken up with the concerned departments for prompt action.
The Mayor said that maintaining regular contact with residents is an important part of responsive governance. Direct interaction with citizens helps the administration understand ground-level challenges and enables quicker decision-making to improve the delivery of public services. Such meetings also strengthen transparency and build trust between the Municipal Corporation and the people it serves.

Speaking on the occasion, Mayor Sarabjeet Singh Samana said that serving the people of Mohali remains his foremost responsibility and that every genuine concern brought to his notice will receive sincere attention. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government is committed to strengthening citizen services, improving civic infrastructure, and ensuring transparent governance across the state. He added that the Municipal Corporation would continue working in close coordination with the concerned authorities to resolve public grievances efficiently and deliver better civic amenities for residents. The meeting reflected the Municipal Corporation’s continued commitment to citizen-centric governance and community engagement.
