A Lok Milni programme was organised in Tardauli Hussainpur village of SAS Nagar Mohali on 8 July 2026, where MLA Kulwant Singh interacted with local residents to discuss development works, public welfare initiatives, and the progress made across the constituency. The programme served as an important platform for direct public engagement, allowing villagers to learn about government initiatives while sharing their views on the development needs of their village.
During the meeting, residents were informed about the major development projects and people-centric welfare initiatives undertaken by the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann over the past four and a half years. The discussion highlighted improvements in Mohali Infrastructure, rural development, road connectivity, healthcare, education, citizen services, and other public welfare measures aimed at improving the quality of life for residents across SAS Nagar Mohali.
The interaction also provided an opportunity for villagers to discuss local issues and development priorities. Regular Lok Milni programmes help strengthen communication between citizens and the administration, enabling the government to better understand the needs of local communities while ensuring that development initiatives remain responsive and inclusive. Such public meetings also encourage greater participation in governance and promote transparency in the implementation of public welfare programmes.
The Punjab Government continues to focus on balanced urban and rural development through sustained investment in infrastructure and essential public services. From improving village infrastructure and strengthening healthcare facilities to expanding education and citizen services, ongoing initiatives are aimed at ensuring that every section of society benefits from development across Mohali.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Kulwant Singh said that regular interaction with residents is essential for understanding their expectations and ensuring that development reaches every village. He stated that under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, the Punjab Government has worked to strengthen public infrastructure, improve citizen services, and implement welfare initiatives that benefit people across all sections of society. He expressed his gratitude to the residents of Tardauli Hussainpur for participating in large numbers and for their continued cooperation in the development of the constituency. The programme concluded with a renewed commitment to the continued progress of SAS Nagar Mohali.
