Women from across SAS Nagar Mohali gathered to celebrate the launch of the Mata Dharat Maan Yojana, as financial assistance under the Punjab Government’s flagship women empowerment initiative began reaching beneficiaries’ bank accounts. The scheme, launched under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, marks an important step towards strengthening financial security and promoting the economic empowerment of women across the state.
On the occasion, many women from the Mohali constituency visited the office of MLA Kulwant Singh after receiving the first instalment of financial assistance, which included benefits for the initial three-month period. The beneficiaries expressed happiness over the timely transfer of funds and shared how the scheme would provide additional financial support for household needs, healthcare, education, and other day-to-day expenses.
